We offer some of the highest quality music tuition and short courses in Melbourne. Our private music lessons are intensive, interesting and fun, and are designed not only to equip you with thorough music technique and reading skills, but to help you improve your abilities EVERY lesson so you can reach your musical goals faster! Whether you are a beginner learning everything from scratch or an advanced musician and experienced performer looking to compliment your skills by learning more techniques to make things feel easier in your posture or pick up a new style or help rehabilitate RSI injuries, we can assist you.
We run workshops and short courses every 2 months at our main premises in Brunswick ranging from singing and percussion, to music reading & theory, through to ‘how to improvise in jazz and blues’. We are also able to custom design a program to suit your school or workplace for purposes of music education, fun, health & wellbeing (breathing, singing, playing), teambuilding, public speaking and presentation (getting over nerves, learning performance/ presentation psychology, using voice and more effectively).. OPENING in APRIL: We have a lot of people comment to us that they’ve always wanted to learn music but can’t practice at home because they share with housemates or live in a flat. We’ve decided to come to the rescue! As of April we will now have a newly sound-proofed practice room available for hire, for just $15 per hour (per person) available Monday to Friday between 1pm and 7pm in Brunswick. This room has a drumkit, keyboard, music stand and mirror set up and has access to kitchen and toilet. If you’d like to book this room to practice or even for a quite study/ songwriting space, call Christina Jonas directly to discuss (condition apply).

A practical, fun-filled and informative introduction into why we get so nervous when we have to speak or present in front of other people, what it means to our physical body and psychologically, what we ALL have in common regardless or background, experience or formal training, and also how we can learn to overcome some of our fears and even enjoy the experiencing of using our voices with greater vibrancy and impact.
Presented by Pro Expression's very own Director and Senior Teaching Specialist, Christina Jonas. Gain a humorous yet invaluable understanding of the nuances of the human body under stress from the insights of a professional opera singer, voice coach and long-time behavioural psychology researcher.
